Dr. Arlene Paden is a highly experienced general adult psychiatrist with an impressive 35-year career. A proud alumna of Howard University’s College of Medicine, where she earned her M.D.. This led her further hone her skills during her residency at USC/LAC Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. She has been dedicated to outpatient mental health treatment ever since!

Throughout the majority of her career, Dr. Paden was at the forefront of mental health care in Waldorf, MD. There, she successfully managed her private practice, Paden & Associates, specializing in a wide array of areas.

Dr. Paden’s commitment to diverse and holistic mental health care is evident in her broad range of experiences. Her background extends into county mental health, in-patient services, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse, to name a few. In 2015, she made the decision to close her practice in Waldorf, MD, embarking on a new chapter in Chicago.

Currently, Dr. Paden has continued her impactful work in the mental health field through her private practice at Spectrum Behavioral Health and in county mental health at Regional Health Services in Merrillville, IN.
